DJ Pauly D & Playboy equals one hot summer night

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) - DJ Pauly D returns to the Palms Casino Resort for the Playboy event "A Midsummer Night's Dream- An Enchanted Lingerie Masquerade".
The sexy, 21 & over event is Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Palms Pool & Bungalows.
The Jersey Shore star will spin music and mingle among the 50 wandering performers who will be dressed as fairies, mimes and water nymphs.
Drinks are complimentary from 9 to 11 p.m., and ladies may also receive complimentary admission.

Considering the fact that Snooki’s skin tone looks more Oompa Loompa than orange and Pauly D refers to a panino as a “sangwich,” many have doubted the Jersey Shore cast’s claims to their Italian heritage. But for season four, which premieres on Thursday, Snooki, Pauly D, JWoww, Vinny, The Situation, Ronnie, Sammi, and last season’s added meatball, Deena, head to Italy, where their “fresh to death” fist-pumping is rather alien to the natives.

During Jersey Shore’s first season, the world was exposed to some of the guidos’ ritual dance moves, including their second-favorite fist dance, “beating up the beat,” in which they pound on the dance floor of a nightclub in a circle of friends and slowly rise up to a full standing position. “Italian men would NEVER, and I mean NEVER, dance together and bang their fists on the floor,” one fluent speaker told The Daily Beast via email.

“I’m nervous, I’m not gonna lie,” Pauly D admitted to MTV before heading to the motherland. “I don’t know what gyms are like over there, I don’t know what tanning’s like, I don’t know the food, and the language—I don’t even speak Italian. Maybe I should get a Rosetta Stone or something.”

Whether or not the gel-hoarding DJ bought the language software remains to be seen. But Pauly D also expressed concern to MTV about hitting on “real Italian women.” Matters of the opposite sex are a bit different in Florence, where romance is held in the highest esteem. Upon hearing about “girl code” and “guy code”—the Jersey Shore cast’s rules that friendship should be put above relationships in all situations, i.e., the “chicks before dicks” or “bros before hoes” mentality—another fluent Italian speaker said, “The concept is unknown to me … Shouldn’t the rule be reversed?”

It seems Pauly D is right to be worried. “I don’t know how I’m going to talk with them,” he added to MTV. “I’m hoping the smile does the trick. The less words the better.”

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is already known for her keen fashion sense, and her mastery of recycling looks from her own closet, but when it comes to hats, well, it seems the new royal is willing to spend a pretty penny.
At the wedding of Prince William's cousin Zara Phillips to Mike Tindall, Kate were a cream Collette Dinnigan French lace dress and Day Birger et Mikkelsen brocade coat, first worn in 2006 at the wedding of Laura Parker Bowles and Harry Lopes. She wore it a second time at the 2010 wedding of Mel Nicholson and Oli Baker.
But for Phillips's wedding, Kate accessorized her outfit with a brand new, bespoke hat by British milliner Gina Foster, People.com reported.
The natural straw coulis, called "Launceston Place," retails for about $675, and was customized by the duchess herself in a visit to the hat maker 10 days before the July 30 nuptials.

She’s one of the more unconventional Royals, but Zara Phillips looked very much the traditional bride at her royal wedding to rugby ace Mike Tindall yesterday.

Zara’s full gown was made from ivory duchess silk and layers of lace gave a full-skirt effect. It’s thought Zara’s wedding dress was created by Stewart Parvin. The bride also wore a cathedral length veil and Greek Key tiara loaned to Zara by her mother Princess Anne. The tiara was a gift to Princess Anne from the Queen in 1972.

Zara and Mike’s wedding ceremony at Canongate Kirk lasted for 45 minutes, and featured a choir of 15 boys and girls from Zara’s former boarding school. The couple left the church in a Bentley and took a 400-yard journey to Holyroodhouse for the reception. Guest were said to enjoy a Scottish-themed feat including a lobster and crayfish cocktail, Scottish venison with dauphinois potatoes and a chocolate fondant. And like Kate Middleton who had costume change at her wedding, Zara reportedly in to a gown by Dublin couturier Paul Costelloe.

Guest at the wedding included member of the royal family a smattering of famous faces. The Duchess Of Cambridge recycled a dress she first wore to the wedding of Laura Parker Bowles in 2006. The Queen and Princess Anne looked pretty in pink, while Beatrice and Eugenie opted for more subtle looks compared to the frocks at William and Kate’s wedding.
